May Crowning 2011
May crowning services took place at both the elementary and middle school campuses during May. The elementary service featured the 2nd graders who had just made their first communion. At the middle school, the Knights of Columbus contributed to the ceremony.

Catholic Schools Week 2011 - All School Mass
Due to the blizzard, our Wednesday and Thursday Catholic Schools Week events were held a week late. This included our all school Liturgy at St. Isidore Church. Students attended mass with their elementary/Middle School buddies.

Catholic Schools Week 2011 - Bowl Painting
for God's Kitchen's Soups On
After the all-school mass, middle school students paired up with their elementary buddies and together painted bowls for the annual God's Kitchen Soups On event. These bowls will be fired and sold at next year's Soups On event to support God's Kitchen.

Catholic Schools Week 2011 - Catholic Faith Quiz Bowl
Middle School students participated in teams and tested their knowledge of their Catholic Faith. Preliminary rounds were held in classrooms. The winners of the preliminary rounds then squared off in a Middle School-wide round. All teams did a wonderful job of demonstrating their knowledge! The winning team is at lower right.

Catholic Schools Week 2011 - 8th Grade vs. Faculty/Staff Volleyball and Basketball Games
The middle school gym was alive with the sounds of cheering when the 8th graders challenged the faculty and staff to the 3rd annual volleyball and basketball games. Eddie the Eagle also made a special guest appearance, and helped cheer the faculty and staff on to victories in both events.

Advent Project 2009: Salvation Army Toy Donations

During Advent 2009, ASA students collected new and gently used toys for the Salvation Army toy drive. They decorated gift bags and boxes for the delivery of the toys, and loaded them on the SA truck.
All Saints Day Liturgy 2009

The feast of All Saints was celebrated with an all-school liturgy on Friday, October 30, 2009 at St. Isidore church. The Mass featured priests from all four parishes, student altar servers, readers, the ASA choir, chime choir and band, a saints tree on which students placed their photo leaves, a saints parade and assembly. Before Mass, students met with their buddies from the opposite ASA campus to create a Saint pennant to wave during the saints parade. After the conclusion of Mass, the ASA band led the entire student body in a parade to the gym to the strains of "When the Saints Come Marching in".
